At On the Go Moving and Storage, we only hire professional, certified moving experts. We use industry-accepted best-practice methods of wrapping, packing, and loading your belongings. When we move your things into storage, we use the same methods to ensure the careful handling of your things.

When your items are moved into the storage facility, we protect them with special material so that no harm comes to your belongings during any part of the process.

What are the dimensions of your vaults, and how does the storage process work?

Vault Sizes

Our secure vaults are 7ft. Long, 5 ft. wide, and 7 ft. high wooden boxes.

Loading the Vaults

We load the boxes into the unit with our crew. We take them back to our facility with all their protective wrapping and strategically place them into the storage unit. We suggest that you watch our process so you know the location of your box in case you decide to reserve more than one vault.

‘Picking’ Your Boxes

If you want to access your vault early, we need 48 hours notice so that our staff can pull down the vault and ‘pick’ it. This service incurs an extra fee. You can then choose the boxes you need and when you’re done, we’ll secure the vault for you until you’re ready to move everything out.

Unloading Your Items from Storage

On the day of the move, our staff will retrieve your vault and load your things into the moving trucks. During this process, they will remain wrapped in our packing materials. When we get to your new home, we’ll unwrap everything for you and be on our way!

You can pay for a storage vault on a monthly basis but we do have a one-month minimum policy. To make the process even easier, we can set up an automatic payment which will send you a confirmation after each settlement.

Standard Moving Services

Our prices are based on the number of movers you need. Each additional mover adds to the charge per move. We charge our customers by the hour in fifteen-minute increments. Billing starts from the moment we leave our warehouse and ends when we return after your move. You can find our warehouse at 85th street and Willows Road.

Labor-Only Moving Services

For people who need the extra manpower but want to keep the cost down, our labor-only moving services might be the perfect compromise. We know how hard it can be to move heavy items up and downstairs, through tiny doorways, or get them lifted into a truck, all while taking care not to hurt yourself. The task is daunting, to say the least. If you are able to provide your own transportation, we can offer a labor-only service just for you.

Packing Service

For some, the biggest strain of moving is packing it all up in an organized and strategic way. At On the Go Moving, we offer two packing services. We can either pack your items the same day as your move, or we can split it into 2 parts. This would involve us packing one day and moving the next. If you choose to pack on the same day as the move, we charge an hourly rate.
